Emaar has begun the processes for constructing a new ‘super tower’ in Dubai that would overshadow any other such planned edifice and cause it to be the second tallest building in the world.
As per the sources, the company’s founder, Mohamed Alabbar, has been focusing on ‘sustainable, advanced technologies that have not been used in any development worldwide.’ After its inauguration in January of the present year the Burj Azizi being constructed by Azizi Developments stands at 725 meters with plans to become the second tallest building in the world. The dependency of this project is 1.6 billion dollars and was initially planned for completion by 2028.
At present, Marina 101 (425m) and Princess Tower (414m), currently the second and third tallest buildings in Dubai, are still surpassed by Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.
At some point, Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia was instructed to rise to more than a kilometer high however this is still a dream to be realized as the construction that first commenced eleven years ago has seen a lot of time being lost in gains. Four very fascinating and contrasting proposals have been floated, including a design to erect a glass-tube sculpture, a rocket tower, and a design involving gothic spires. Still, no precise Height or location has been selected.
Other possible sites being considered include the Dubai Creek project which already seeks the construction of a super skyscraper, or perhaps a site near Burj Khalifa.
